The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering services like new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is actually alarmed with regards to the superior amount of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention with the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a higher variety of clients/beneficiaries to more info access SASSA services.

“This is due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The assistance point designed for intervention encounters a high influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise extra means to enable the servicing of all buyers and increase access to Social Assistance companies,” the agency said.
